I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
This past week has been a weird week. I've been feeling out of sorts and I think alot has to do with the fact that I've had just about enough of winter!!!! My cabin fever is really bad this year.
I've also had to look for a part time job so I can continue with my photography. Finding a part time job was a little daunting since I haven't had to look for one for quite some time. I had an interview with Petsmart and really thought I could get that job since I had previous experience in the pet industry, but I still haven't heard from them. I also applied at Lowe's and Home Depot. First getting a job at either one of these places would be great! Discount at a home improvement shop! Helloooooo who wouldn't like that. Well I heard from Lowe's and they weren't interested. Then I get a call from Home Depot. So I'm off to my interview really not expecting to get a job and also set in my ways regarding needing time off for my show schedule. The interview went well and the manager was very nice. Next thing I know he says they would like having me in their garden center. Wow almost too easy. They had me go for a drug test at the clinic. No problem there. Now I'm just waiting for them to call with some kind of schedule. It's just seasonal, but I'm good with that and they are willing to work with me regarding my show schedule. Working in the garden center will be fantastic! I love flowers, I love buying flowers and I need stuff for my garden. I also have to remember to save money too. That will be the hard part.
I've also been getting all my paperwork together to do my dreaded taxes. I swear next year I will hire someone to do them for me. I'll have the taxes completed by the end of the week.
So with all that said. This photograph was taken in May a couple of years ago. I can tell you that this is a beautiful flowering tree that blooms in late May and June, but right now what I think is so attractive is the distorted branches. I actually heard someone once say why would someone buy a photo of a dead tree. When I look at this photo I see a unique beauty that our Mother Nature has provided us to see when this tree isn't in full bloom.
I'm anxious for Spring and I'm anxious to start photographing!
Have a Super Week!!!
Congratulations on the new job! That's great!!!
