I photographed this Flamingo at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island.

 

So here we are the end of Summer and the unofficial beginning of Fall.  Frankly I'm glad summer is over.  It has been an sad summer losing 2 wonderful dogs first Ben in June and then Sami in August.  I've been busy with shows and registering for college and it was also far to hot for me.  I'm looking forward to the cooler months ahead and less sadness and more happy times. 

My last show of the season is September 15th & 16th in Hampton Falls, NH with the Castleberry Fairs and Festivals.  This year the shows were up and down.  Some were good and some not so good.  I've pretty much decided that with the exception of maybe 3 shows I will be staying in state (Maine) for all my other shows.  Just because it will be cost effective and until the economy finally starts to come around shows will be closer to home.

So now with shows nearly over I will be redirecting my attention to photo editing and getting new photos added to my websites for the holidays.  Having been photographing all year and not having much time to edit this is the time of year I start editing and getting new photos out. 

I've also been working on a new product line involving my photography.  As soon as I get all the kinks out I will fill you in on all the details.  My goal is to have the new line out in October.

I will also be heading to college this year which starts on the 4th of this month and wouldn't you know I start my first day with my favorite (not) algebra.  I expect I will be quite busy with school, but I hope that I can time manage myself to get my school work done, photo editing, prepping for the holiday and what ever else comes my way.  We'll see.
